Fat Kitten Agency, the oldest Agency in Sleuth, was lost this morning. We at Wish are incredibly sad to see this news, and extend our condolences to all members of that esteemed Agency, both past and present. If there is anything we can do to help, please let us know. Again our deepest sympathies.

Unfortunately I think we are going to see a lot more of this, and we probably already have. Like where is Hitchhikers (NY)? I'm assuming they are gone too and I wasn't around to notice it. I'm sure there are so many others too that I just can't remember at the moment. Blood & Dagger comes to mind.

As most of the old players have gone inactive, there is no one to fill up the agency safe. It's very sad. I guess what's most sad about it is not necessarily that the agency is dissolved (if no one is playing or will play anymore it's not like they've lost anything), but that it is wiped from the history books as if it never existed.

I think I have a request for Ben, and I don't think that I have ever asked Ben for anything. I can't remember ever asking. I don't want a pony. I think the server speed is just fine. 12 cases is more than enough for me...

Ben- Can we please have some kind of Hall of Fame or something for fallen agencies that are over a certain age/points and the detectives that were part of the agency at the time it went bankrupt? It's just so weird to see so many old agencies dissolve and there's no record of them ever having been here.

Thanks.

I had an afterthought. Again for Ben.

If you send me the data I can compile it for you so all you would need to do is post it. Obviously you would need to tell me what the guidelines of age/experience were. But that way you don't have to spend hours trawling (I like that word) through agency bankruptcies. Just saying I'm willing to help.

Well this can set off a very good discussion. I agree it is sad to see some agencies go. BUT, they have decided to leave the game, I would like to see a record of them in all time agencies as well, but what about something for current active agencies that aren't as old and are fighting towards getting to the top. My agencie is curently getting a bit higher in the top agencies list (at #9 now) and we are behind agencies taht are no longer active.

Maybe something like the player stats where we can see top scores for agencies within the past 7 days. I really dont care about the individual scores like I do about agency ones. I like to see DPI move up and give the thanks to the people in the agency that have helped us get to where we are.

We've see other "old" agencies go, I remember Black Swan for one, as I was a member of that agency a long time ago.

With this Hall of Fame Idea, where do you cut it off? Minimum number of fame points? Treasures found?

I'd like to see on my profile the agencies that I spent time with, not just a visit

Pretty Sweet
Mystery Inc.
Black Swan
Eye Spy
Blue Pagoda
Dawg Pound

Thats all I can remember right now but its a trip down memory lane. How about if we can get a resume feature?

OK. ctown.... Don't ask for too much because I want my wish answered!! (although I do like your idea of the resume)

I don't know where you cut it off (the Hall of Fame thing). Obviously there have been a lot of agencies that have come and gone (some in a couple of days or so) so I wouldn't be a proponent of listing EVERYONE. Maybe the agencies that were active for a year or more and have a minimum number of fame points. I wouldn't make THs a requirement because some agencies aren't into the whole TH thang.

Well, I could even add a few more...
- but, it does not really matter anymore.
If the game is to attract and keep people... - some refreshments and advertising would not be too bad. - but that is a worthless discussion, as it would all the time end up with a plea to someone special....
Perhaps I should be thankful that the addiction have passed away?
It's sad to see though that the same seem to have happened with more than me.
Fat Kitten was my first agency, and where I got my first contacts, and met my first friends here. Another agency .... were the agency that I really put a lot of work into, and now both are gone. So my roots have actually disappeared, and so have my belief that much hard work will give a more permanent reward. All it takes for history and fame to be gone, are that the agency safe becomes empty.
