As it says, everyone has to be a newbie once.

Why can't we save favors and featured mysteries? If I need to go but am in the middle of a mystery, I'd like to be able to file it and come back later when I have time. real life getting in the way of sleuthing. ;-)

You can't save them in case files, but if you leave (even log off) with them in process, they should be there when you get back!

Ben let folks try saving favors a while back. They got stockpiled and then agencies were finishing hunts in like 5 minutes. The hunts became zero fun, so the favor saving got scrapped quick.
Don't know about featured mysteries but guessing and quitting don't carry any significant penalty.

i guess the reason u cant save fetured mysteries is cause u r alowd to do them over and over again.

I think Dogberta has it straight. I don't see why Ben doesn't make it so that we can store a favor, but not open a new one until that favor is done.

If we could store favors, then we could swap 'em too. That would make it too easy. 1 detective could be used to hold the favors that weren't needed right away and all contacts could be used to solve them. As annoying as it can be not to be able to save them, I like it the way it is, even if it does get on my nerves at times, like when all PE's are handwriting! :)
