It has been the same for months now.. Isn't it time for a change? What about a new one for non-payers every month?

There is not even a new scripted mystery every month for subscribers. However, there is always a possibility that Admin may decide to switch to another scripted mystery for non-subs at some point. Just don't plan on it being too soon - that mystery is basically there to give you a taste of what you would get if you subscribed.

In the time I've been here (some 2 1/2 years, yeah, I know, I'm ancient ;-), I've seen the Featured Mystery for Unsubs changed exactly....

True, Subscribers do have it better off. They can play any Featured or Scripted Mystery any ol' time they want to. But they pay for that privilege. You can try asking Admin, but I doubt you'll get very far. All in all, I'd say be glad you've got the chance to do any FM's at all. Sorry.

In my several years here, I've seen the unsubbed players go from having NO featured mystery to actually having A featured mystery to play.
