Here's the idea, we have questions we want answers to. The overall best answer gets $200,000. It's simple!

The Questions:

1) What the factions in Shangri La do with all the equipment we have to deliver them?

2) If you were a townie, who would you be, in which city and why?

3) Who should launch the Sleuthetania, and why?

The rules:

You can submit up to 3 answers, but only one per question.
The deadline for submission is 23.59pm server time on 13th June 2008.

Good luck!

I've got a theory... it must be bunnies! or maybe midgets... but I digress:

1) What the factions in Shangri La do with all the equipment we have to deliver them?

It's all just a ruse to collect a large amount of females clothes for a group of very confused men living in a mythical mystical land which seems to be basically devoid of women except for the owner of the tea shop :s

When it boils down to it, Steeper, Tiger, Scholar, all boundaries and rivalries are meaningless on those cold winter nights when there's nothing to do but play dress up.

I mean, seriously, you haven't lived until you've seen Scholar Toe do his Ava Gardner impersonation during Saturday night at the Shangri La Proms.

2) If you were a townie, who would you be, in which city and why?

I was gonna say the Don of La Cosa Nostra, only because I've watched far too many gangster movies for it not to be appealing. + there's the added bonus of having an actual useful purpose for the Three Legged Joe ... well his head at least.

But ultimately [and seriously] I think I'd like to be Big Lucy. There's something romantic, and perhaps poignantly sad, about her character that has always appealed to me. A tragically big woman in a flapper dress belting out the blues to a dimly lit room, full of cigarette smoke and spell-bound punters...

3) Who should launch the Sleuthetania, and why?

Whilst I'd like to say that Big Lucy should launch the ship, just coz she could give it a big push start, I don't think she gets out much, so I'll go with Sunny.

Once and and while reality should meet fantasy (or visa versa.) As Shady might say in his [distant past] ramblings 'If I was youse bums I'd be careful about bitin' da hand that feeds youse all. Big Mama runs dis town and youse all better pay da Piper!'

[apologies to Shady's ghost-writer but who actually speaks like that!]

Hi all, sorry about the delay. I've had a lot on my plate recently and some things have had to be left.

Firstly, I'd like to thank you all for your entries, we've had a lot of fun reading through them and we appreciate everyone's efforts :).

Ok, to the winner... well, his name keeps popping up in these competitions and I guess it's no co-incidence, but we have agreed that Secret Squirrel provided us with the answers we wanted to hear. Congrats!! :)
