I just did a case where a suspect had a fake alibi and PE. I accused him and it was wrong!
There were 2 other suspects with fake alibi's, but i didn't bother checking PE for them because i had gotten it for the above suspect.
I thought PE + Fake alibi = guilty
Why would this have happened?

Research will eliminate the suspect but the person eliminated will NEVER match with PE. If you did in fact have a fake alibi and PE to match then it may be a bug and should be reported to Admin. Remember PE+fake=Guilty, WE+fake does not + guilty

oops that should be
PE+fake=guilty
WE+fake=guilty
2WE = guilty
Are you sure you didn't have similar names and did not have the right alibi for that person. Many of us have made that mistake, especially in cities like Delhi and Shanghai

Thank you Lady Jas & ctown for responding.
No ctown, i didn't have similar names. I still have my notepad in front of me with their names: Gurvinder, Nayarayn & Malak.
I will report this to Admin.
Thanks again!

Hold up...
How many suspects were there? What level case? It is very much possible you didn't get all the suspects, thus assuming one was fake when it was real.
It's happened on many occasions, this would not be the first time I have heard of this situation. We've all done it at one time, I'm sure. Ok, maybe not ALL of us, but many of us have. Especially at a time before sleuth helpers were out.
