i posted this thread on SoM too, but i am more interested to see what you guys have to say!

which game do you prefer, shades or noir? and for what reasons?

personally, i found SoM first and i enjoyed it, but once i came over here i found it a lot more fun andd much more challenging! im curious about y'all's input!

We do the best we can on there yoyo, you saw for yourself some of the crap we all had to put up with from the unamed few:). Even though I don't play shades anymore i do try to go on and keep an eye on the boards. I would love a sticky on the top of gumshoe over there just for friends so the rest can be deleted. Just imagine how empty the board would be then lol. I think the problem is though the players generally over there are a lot younger than over here and it seems they think the only way to comunicate is by asking for friends instead of providing any intellectual conversation.

I think we need to set up a team of board nazis-oops!-I meant to say mods :). And yeah just mod spank their asses till we get a normal conversation over their and then maybe some well known members of the community could take over.

Yoyo you are too young to be losing your memory :P Don't you remember we tried that and it took every ounce of strength we all had and we just got beaten down by stupidity over and over again? Remember our little "Take Back the Boards" mission?

Yeah but now we have none of that resistance from new sleuthers who would just attack us for no reason. Now its just a group of people who have no structure-we need to create the structure with which a community can be built upon..

So, peoples have been trying to convert me to Noir. I am pretty much converted, but not totally due to these wonderful peoples efforts. Shades lacks in both content and community. Noir does not! I have loved every minute I have spent here so far, and am looking forward to many, many more! ;D
