Ok, here's my question I've got all the smart skill (adv hair/thread, footprint, handwritting), but on some cases I'm not finding all the PE's I should. ex: on AI cases only finding 3 PE's. I even have smart gear (19 smarts). So what's the deal and can the guilty person have the "missing" PE??

Some AI cases only have 3 pieces of physical evidence. :)

It would have taken me like 45 minutes and nine thesaurus papercuts to say what cfm just articulated with 10 simple words. If there was a Camp Sharpie, you'd be the head counselor :)

And just to be really clear. If you have all the crime scene skills you ALWAYS find all of the evidence.

thank you all so much I'd been agonizing over some cases because I only had 3 PE's and couldn't be sure and so have quit almost all of these cases. I must have debated with myself for days if I should post this or not (didn't want to be the one to ask the truely stupid question!)

It's not stupid, but it has been asked before. (A search may provide more info if you need it. ;-) Basic hair and thread analyses cover all evidence at a scene, regardless of how much is actually there, the advanced skills help you differentiate what kind of evidence you're dealing with.
