Finally! I finally get to see what Shades of Mystery is all about. I must admit that after some of the previous posts my excitement was waning, but now that I have seen it for myself, I am excited again. Yes, it IS very different from Sleuth: Noir - I don't think there will be a lot of cross-over - but there are a lot of gamers out there that will really, really like this format.

Sir Ben, great job on SoM! Can unsubbed people play this game? Do we all need to create another detective for this game? Or can we use our sleuth noir detective?

I like the new home page as well, I went to logon here from wotk where I have neither Noir nor SoM bookmarked and this early in the morning is not the time to play mind tricks. I was lke, wait a sec, how did I get to SoM? Looks good Ben

The beta testing is great! Really great!
With everyone away testing that Shades thing, the Noir server are running at a much more fun speed ;-)

I started playing the new game and just tried to log in but it says my information is not in the site. I even attemped to have my password e-mailed to me but i was told
"The detective name you entered does not exist. "
The decitive name is own2sphynx same as here I have been playing for a couple days now. Please help.

The beta testing is over and the game officially launched today as a full game. Everyones previous account was wiped out. All you have to do is re-register and you will be up and running.
