Shaking the debris off of his head, Hawkeye exclaims “These dratted traps! I’m not sure Gracie Lou’s shoes are worth all of this.”

Picking up the dusty book he found in the catacombs and opening it, he is surprised to find stories written by other detectives from Sleuthville, among them Breitkat, Brasco De Gama, Sophie4, Stooby, Violet Parr, and many other names which he recognizes.

“Hmm, at least this adventure wasn’t a total waste” Hawkeye thinks as he gingerly leans back against the clammy rock and begins leafing through the book.

You dont need skill points to get inside the Catacombs yoyo! All you need is a map from a townie there. You can still get a book by doing it that way, but its all random luck and chance. If you do the shoe missions, then yes you need skill points, but to get inside and explore for the fun of it, do a favor for one of your contacts there and get a map ;)

Have fun when you do! :D

OK after much debate me and Jas have straightened out the problem. To get to Cairo I need hostage negotiation. I do not have the skill points to buy that skill even though I am at 50 with the Steepers. Problem solved :)

Yeah, that's something to work towards yoyo - hostage negotiation is a handy skill to have (especially if you hunt villlains or travel around a lot). And Cairo is a nice place to visit, albeit a bit hot and dusty. I'm not really a tea drinker, so I especially enjoy the alternative there ;)
