Today, while reviewing the different categories of high scores, I noticed a lot of great detectives names, who were here during the beta testing, and when I joined, such as Chuck, Fat Kitten, Bella Luna, and others, no longer appear anywhere. I thought it’s sad that their scores have been long beaten out, and I wish there was a place they could be honored for their achievements. When I first joined Sleuth I remember how some of these players put a spark in me to accomplish what they did, and I feel there should be a special place to honor them so all players, old or new, will know.

As in real life, people achieve greatness and some are inducted into a “Hall of Fame,” or given rewards. I thought adding a new category such as, “Sleuths Hall of Fame,” would be a wonderful way to honor these retired agents, as well as current agents who have achieved greatness.

To make it fun, perhaps all players could nominate players, then vote on who we feel is worthy of mention, or select a committee to decide. Better yet, our Sleuths Administration could make the final decision. Anyway, I would love to see the names of all of those who’ve contributed a lot to this wonderful game. In the meantime, my hat is off to all of them and you

I really do think this is a great idea as well.

Especially since there is so much history in sleuth, more than anyone can bring up.

I wanted to add that there are also many historical threads that have led to great change in the game such as the ‘Break in the Case of the Missing Detective’ thread, which led to a whole new role playing phenomenon on the boards back in the time.

I would personally tip my hat to Coco Cola -who more or less singlehandedly brought Moonlighting to the forefront of New York agencies.

Also, I am not one to forget the amazing Mr. Barry Grant, who during his sleuth playing life, stayed in character through the thick and the thin -a true role playing veteran and hero in my book.

Thanks Vellozo but Lady Jas is the best choice. She always has her heart and hand out to to the newbies. Not just individuals but new agencies too...she's been known to donate smart gear to new upstarts. Everyone knows her she's like a little sleuth guardian angel :-)

Hey, Sleuth dream wish list....are we ever gonna' get a late great detective list?

*misses Wayne something awful*

It is sad that so many will read that and not know who he was. Or as Da Ru mentioned, Chuck, Kitten, Luna....etc.

*swipes at a tear and coughs to hide it*
