It has been a while since I posted in the Newbie section but I just have to ask!

What is the difference/characteristics of the Moderator, Editor and Chat Moderator roles? Just curious, there is a much longer list than when I was playing when it was just "Admin-Ben" "Editor-Sunny".

Moderators help clean up the chat boards.

Editors proof the intros and the FM submissions.

Chat Moderators keep spammers and foul mouths from taking over the bar.

That help? :)

But editors can moderate the boards as well, right?

NO, if they are strictly an editor then all they do is edit the FM's and intros.

There are several people who are a combination of Editor AND Moderator. Those people can moderate the boards as well as edit. But they are listed as being Editor/Mod, as opposed to just Editor or just Moderator.

Moderators are also Chat Mods.

Basicly we first had only mods. Then Ben asked who wants to help with editing. Those ppl got Editor next to their name and can now read the intro's etc... But as far as I know all editors can still Mod too.

Yeah, Editors cannot moderate boards.

Also, no moderator can edit the Subscriber Help Boards
