I've done 2 favor cases and solved them but the people I did the favors for don't show up on the contacs list. So what do I have to do to get a contact?

Just keep doing your favours, at some point your will get one. It doesn't mean with each favour you do, you get a contact. Some people get a contact within a week of playing, others don't.

Like jstkdn said, just keep doing favors. You'll get your first witness contact (i.e., butcher, priest, fortune teller) at around your 5th favor case. Apparently, you'll get your second contact, an evidence contact (banker, barber, tailor) at around your 15th favor case.

Thanks for that Linda. When I started this game it was still possible to get two evidence contacts (ah yes, those were the days), so I never realized there was an order to things.

Strange... This is my 6th day playing, and I got the banker for a contact as my fifth favor reward. So apparently you can get the witness & evidence contacts in either order.

Andy, yes you can! I got Tailor first, then Butcher.
