If you mean by joining Shades of Mystery, you lose all benefits with Sleuth Noir, you're misinformed. The two will be two completely separate entities. Everything you've worked for here, stays. At Shades of Mystery, everyone will start out at the bottom, just like they did when Sleuth Noir opened for business in 2004.
Unfortunately, there's still a lot we don't know about Shades of Mystery because it hasn't opened yet, and the producers are being somewhat tight-lipped about it. As it gets closer to opening, we're s'pposed to get more info on it.
Hope that helps a bit. ;-)

You're welcome, Turtledove. We were told that at SleuthCon. Besides, it'd be very a bad business practice to pull a stunt like that on people (letting people have benefits to both would be beneficial, but prob'ly impractical). ;-)
