Me? Aw, you're sweet for asking. I played soccer today for the first time in a while, and it turns out that one of the guys I play with has a 22-month old son I hadn't heard about. And learned in the way only sore muscles can tell you that absence makes the thighs grow painful :P

In other news, our house is being repainted (a LOVELY shade of off-taupe), starting tomorrow, some random person left a bag of clothes in my backyard last week (minus the bag part) and I'm kinda hungry.

But enough about me. How are YOU today?

I'm good, thanks! I'm visiting my brother in Colombo, Sri Lanka, I spent last week getting acquainted with a whole lot of elephants, and I've just attempted to alleviate my husband's sunburn with a lot of Body Shop strawberry body butter, which means he now smells like he's really in touch with his feminine side...

I'm embarrassed that I forgot to add a 'How are you?' to the end of my last post.

I'm also sad I couldn't make it to the Birmingham meet-up - sounds like a really good day!

And I'm depressed about money. But then, isn't everyone.

On the plus side, we haven't finished the chocolate cake yet...

I'm depressed because you haven't finished the chocolate cake. How do you manage to not eat chocolate? Unless , of course, chocolate cake is a reference to something other than regular chocolate cake.

Other than that I'm doing good. The sun is shining here, for now, which is unusual. Friends are taking me out for dinner tonight. [maybe we'll get chocolate cake ; ) ]

Well, aside from a sad lack of chocolate cake in my life, it's rather a beautiful day today.

The sun is shining, the temperature is warm with just a hint of October in it, the laundry is done, and my checkbook balanced perfectly. However, if a chirping bird flies in my window and some mice run out into the living room and start singing and dancing (ala Disney's Cinderella), I'm done.

Well, at the moment I'm chuckling at the idea of Anikka's Disney birds. Apart from that, I'm waiting for my husband to tear himself away from his computer and bottle his homebrew beer, because until he's done that we can't have dinner.

(The chocolate cake didn't last much longer.)

I'm just fine....NOW . lol It started at 6am this morning. Some how the alarm started going off, when we didnt need it to, since it was a sleep in day...my fiance' didnt have to work. Well, we drank lastnight, so, another reason why I wasnt in the ballgame, so to speak. The alarm goes off...well, I literally jump right out of bed, swearing left and right, then grab the phone, and yell Hello!!!.....its still ringing. I wake up enough to figure out that it was the alarm. So I grumble to myself, and go back to bed, while I hear my fiance' laughing with his head under the pillow. Im like whatever...and go back to sleep.

ok....wake up the second time, thankfully on my OWN....take a shower, get dressed...and take my dogs out to go bathroom. Go outside, walking along...look down...two different flip flops on my feet...sweet!......so, as im walking back to our apartment....my dog sees another dog, lunges forward, and some how the collar comes undone. He doesnt listen for shit, when he is on a mission. He didnt want to hurt the dog, he just wanted to play because he is retarded that way. So Im yelling at the top of my lungs for my dog, with two different flip flops on and I'll be danged if I'M chasing him like that. So I go get my fiance'..laughing my ass off as Im walking in the door. He looks at me like im stupid, and sees my flips flops, then he REALLY looks at me like im stupid, then asks where the other dog is. I just laughed..and said, The flippin dog just TOOK off" He is like what? He goes running out the door....and within few minutes, he was back with our dog. I did care that my dog got loose, but, I knew he wouldnt listen to me anyway..and I wasnt going to look an idiot running after my dog in two different flip flops. lol

This was the spaciest day that Ive ever had. Now Im going to bed, in hopes of a more normal tomorrow :) How YOU doin'? ;)

I'm LMAO at your day, Reese. I've had days like that, and thankfully I don't wear flip flops. Another thing, I'm glad my alarm doesn't sound like my phone.

I'm doing just fine, and I'm getting ready to sleep. I had a long day of cleaning, shopping, and listening to Ctown's radio show. So, Good Night, and How are you?

Well let's see, I was driving into work this morning and found out that the bank I work for just got sold. Fine enough, I knew it was coming, figured it would go to Novia Scotia, but no, goes to PNC! What does that mean? The HQ won't be in Cleveland anymore. Granted, my job is safe for at least a year if not more, my concern is what it does for the local economy. The bank started in Cleveland 150 years ago and now will be located in Pittsburgh.
