Why am I loosing faction politics points?

Hello.
Yesterday I know I did a "little job" for the Brotherhood, and my political standing was at 37.
Today when I arrived, my political standing had changed down to 34. Why is this happening?
Also, I know earlier, when I did "little job"'s my political standing tended to grow with more than one point, is it true that the growing is slowing when you come higher up?
And, just to confirm: I did not play a single case yesterday that would affect my standing.
I have somehow felt that this loosing of faction points have occured earlier too, but today I am sure there is a drain somewhere.
Could anybody help me, or give me an advice about what I am doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong. Faction points drop automatically overnight. It's aimed at making it harder for one person to stay on top!

Not sure about the rate of growth as I've never gone that high but it sounds likely that it slows - can anyone confirm?

You drop 1 point over night. if you are in negative standing you go up 1. I think though if you are over 35 you seem to go down 3 or 4 points overnight (only ever been there once so not to sure).

Doing a little job I think is always the same, 1 point for 1 question right, 2 for 2 right and 4 for 3 right.

I think! Not my strong point and perhaps someone will confirm?

Sorry, Stoob, your point thing for the little jobs is a bit off. In order to get points for completing a little job, you MUST answer 2 or 3 questions correctly. (They let you miss one.) If you complete the job, you gain 4 points with the faction of your choice, and lose 2 points with the other two in your particular city. If you get 1 or 0 questions, the townie will tell you that you didn't do well enough today, and they just 'can't trust you enough'. You neither gain nor lose points with any of the factions. You are free to try again the next day, but you can only do one little job per day.

The little job rates are constant, no matter how high up the ladder you are, Huglover. What does vary is how fast you lose points at turnover. The higher up you are in a faction, the more you'll lose. Generally, people over +35 can expect to lose at least 4 or more points a day, up to about 7 at last report. And yes, it happens to everyone. It's a system thing, designed to keep any one person from completely dominating the top spots of the factions.

I do feel that Unsubscribed Players lose more points. :P

You're welcome, Stooby!

It feels that way, doesn't it, Adonis? I suspect this is cause you guys have less cases to recover with after the previous night's turnover loss. But the system's s'pposed to treat all players equally, subbed and unsubbed alike.(And yes, I've dealt with it as an unsubbed player too. ;-)

I agree. I'm unsubbed at this time and I'm over +35 with Order of Socrates. I lose 3-4 points after every turnover.

I was wondering why my points were less than the day before. I was so close to getting past the current top spot, then the next day I was a few points below. Thanks for clarifying!
