I've gotten the suggestion to start over from a few different people. I have slowly come to realize I'm not gonna make it with this character, and I've decided to give up. So I've created a new detective.

Please welcome..

No, no, don't talk to him, he can't do anything for you :)

There is another suggestion that many people have used. Name your character something very similar. Such as John K. Eastman, Sir John Eastman, John Eastman Jr. or even Jon Eastman. You can also add a number to the end. Good luck with your new detective.

Yes.. but then again, no. It's John Eastman just. But thanks for the advice. I guess I'll just have to grow into my new name. :)

True what Arabella said. Just take a look at this guy... ----> "Butcher de Vei" I mean geez, what a wannabe! -.-

Coincidentally, the reason I left that char and added a "Sir" to my name is exactly the same reason Jim ditched Rod. I also thought that subscriptions were transferrable. >.<

Hang on now.. Can I or can I not have an old character deleted and the name transferred to this character? And who do I talk to about it? I would be willing to pay to have my old name.

No. You can't delete old characters as far as I know.
Like Ara said, you'll just have to name your character something similar or stick with Jim.
