I was quite disappointed when I saw the reward for winning this competition as I dont feel the reward fits the accomplishment. I dont begrudge anyone receiving this reward but there are a lot of detectives out there that are far more deserving of this prize and I am sure there are a lot of people that really feel bad when they see what they received. I hope that there are other ways of recieving this reward as I find this to be just another reason for me to stay away from villian hunts. Congrats to the winners but I am very unhappy to see this given in such a way when a lot of very deserving detectives cannot get it.I feel that a lot of winning these competitions is based on the luck of the clues and not always the skills of the competitors.

Anyway S'ok Woody, I don't want this to degenerate into a 'who should get what' debacle, and I'm glad Carrie has someone so faithful looking out for her!!

Besides :D I also happen to 100% agree with you, that whilst there's not a snow flakes chance in Hades I'm giving my Gate Key back willingly, I'm already in the process of asking Ben if this might not be such a 'once off' thing.

It's a great prize, I'm really rapt to have it, I even think "maybe" I've earnt it, but it's one of those things that feels like it should be a bit more like the travel kit.

I'm confused as to how the person with the top score in Villain Hunts isn't deserving of the gate key. I think it's a fine and fitting prize for a villain hunt competition. Doesn't the beauty pageant winner get some cool accessory? And they don't even have to do a talent show for it. Congrats to everyone who competed it was fun following the competition.

A prize? What the ass?! I had no idea that there was a prize??!!

Was everyone aware of this? I thought this AVL match was basically for s&*ts and giggles! I think if others would have known this, then they may have played a little harder. While I am happy for you and your team SS, I can't say that I am not a bit perturbed about the prize, especially when I had no idea that a prize was going to be awarded.

Ah, well...I don't think I will be around much longer, so it doesn't much matter. I seem to be getting annoyed more than having fun these days. Seems like a good time to ride off into the sunset.

Thank's for the key, it was a real surprise. I feel very privileged to have one. Btw it's silver and big ...no gold and small. Heck I don't know what it looks like but it gets me into places:)

I second the calls of what key and while I would never ever begrudge a prize going to winners I'm sure all who did not win would begrudge not being told it was on offer. Not me, I was on holiday durring the AVL much prefer the holiday to a prize !

I would have joined the AVL had I not came back to town a day after it started.

Either way, I'm happy for the winners, and not a bit all in any way upset or whatever that a prize was not told or what not! Good job you guys, it was pretty close!

Congrats SS, If you got a gate key, its well deserved.

Maybe in the future, more people will have a chance at the gate key and the prize will actually be announced so people have a chance at it.

Goncratulations as well! =) I personally dont think theres anything wrong with anyone getting the gate key as a prize. And if anyone deserved it, its SS, correct me if Im wrong, but 40 villains does entitle him a shortcut into the palace wouldnt you say? I also believe that all 3 of the teammates got it, so thats just fair in my opinion as they were the first to complete the hunt.

However, fillemaligne is right, if there was talk of a gate key reward prior to the start of the hunt I reckon we would have seen more people queing up to join, more interest, salivating, competition and bruhaha. Of course, thats just because the Gate key is Sleuth's Holy Grail and everyone (AVHers mostly) wants one. Theres still hope in the horizon though, now that its already a reality, there is a slight chance this wont be the only occassion gate keys would be given out? Lets cross our fingers that SS's sweet talking skill is up to par against the will of the Sleuth God himself...
