What does the 4 Room Penthouse have that the 1 Room Apartment doesnt? Any perks?

Hey Butcher,
1 room has about 300square ft.
Gives you basically enough space to have ONE 'big' thing in the room.
A Sofa or something similar for chat
Dining Setting for Message Board
a lg/sm Armoire for (4-5) items
Bookshelf for err books!
and (is it) a roll-top desk for 9 cases?
and then a few ancillary things that don't take up (much) floor space eg pot plants, pictures etc
There are other smaller items of a similar nature to those mentioned above that you could make combinations of eg something that stores two or three items and something that stores two or three case files etc.
I think that about sums it up.

Oh sorry, I meant to say "No, so you won't fit all the things you want in just one room!"

That sums it up. Guess Ill settle for the 1 room apartment for now since Im only going to store excess items in the equipment locker anyway. Many thanks SS.

Can you buy all armoirs or drawers for every room(i.e three drawers for three rooms and an armoir for one room in a penthouse) and how much do an armoir and a drawer cost?
Seriously. Like I can afford a penthouse.
Another question: Is it true that when you upgrade a house you get to have a discount as much as half the price you paid for the one you currently have?
Like you have a studio, you want to upgrade it to a 2-room apartment, so you pay 160 grand? If that's true, I'd rather stay a homeless vagabond. And I have debts.

Eden, when you buy an appartment, you can choose whatever equipement you want for the place. If you want a large italian armoir in all rooms, then you will have 4 bedrooms. It really depends on what you want your place for...You can't buy drawers. For gear, you can buy a footlocker storage (two storage), a display case for two items, a large italian armoire for 5 items. I can't remember the prices but I'll let you know when I'm back in London at my place. I'll send you a list of prices. It'll help you with your planning.
As far as prices. If you buy a studio but want to upgrade to a two room place. It will cost you but i'm unaware of any discounts available.

I saw this post just now. This will help me a lot in the course of decision making, along with the PM you sent.
Thank you Dark Raven.
