I am currently a rookie in Bella Mafia but I think I am in the wrong timezone. Theyre all asleep when Im awake and Im dozing off when theyre up and about. >.< So, just wondering, are there any Asian Agencies out there? It would be nice being on the same timezone with fellow colleagues and agency-mates.

Sorry to tell you there are no specific agencies that are heritage related only.

Here at sleuth, we are multi-cultural. So all the agencies you will find will have members from all over the world. Having our diverse agencies is what makes Sleuth a great place, and really brings people of different cultures together!

Yup, I just hope I can find the time to be online as much so I get messages as soon as I can. Exchanging pms that are 6 hours away from each other ish hard. =P

LOL, it can be, but then again, you meet and make great friends this way.

Happy Sleuthing!

There are some that have a few members based in the Far East, but as far as I know, no one agency has been set up SPECIFICALLY for a certain heritage or time zone. Generally, agencies are made up of people from various countries and time zones, and while logistics can be problematic at times, there are definite benefits to people from several different cultures as well. Agencies also use emails and instant messenger services to improve communication.

Moral of the story, there ARE options. Good luck!! ;-)

Yep, true. And also just to clarify, I wasnt being racial by the way (if ever some of you get that vibe) -.- I was just innocently wondering whether there were cause being in an agency means communicating and cooperating with your fellow detectives. Its just that I get to read the messages a whole lotta longer than the time it was sent since Im in a different timezone and I feel this would make me a liability. I just hope that time wont be too much of an issue in Sleuthville for it to matter. Thanks for your replies by the way. =)

Speaking from experience, I know that it is tough being in a time zone 6 hours away from everyone else. But you learn about a different way of life and can share stories and experiences. I am 12 timezones away from my director but we still speak to each other frequently via IM. The internet is a way of defying timezones, use it's power!
