Sidekicks are basically a promotion offer that's available to people who have NEVER subscribed before here at Sleuth. By getting a Sidekick coupon from someone, you get a 15% discount (I believe) off your first month's subscription, and your sponsor gets a little something special too.
To find someone to sponsor you, prob'ly the easiest way to go about it is to leave a message either here or on the Recruitment Board saying you're looking for a Sidekick coupon, and could someone send you one. You will get 15% off the subscription price of any term you choose. If you choose the one month sub, instead of paying $7 you will only pay $5.95. Then all renewals will be full price. If you choose to subscribe for a full year, you will receive the 15% off the yearly rate. The one year subscription is your best deal and using a coupon will get you a full $6.75 off the price.
