I have already posted this in the Sleuth talk but maybe someone can help me here. I am having trouble accusing someone because they do not have a motive but I am sure of who it is. Is there anyway I can get around that of find someone in the game who will talk to give me a reason to accuse?

If you're in an Agency, you can pass your case on to another detective and ask them to run Surveillance on somebody and hope that person will give a motive on your suspect. Surveillance isn't a foolproof tool, but it's the best option. There is another option, but it's very, very rare, and only works once a day for certain individuals. Otherwise, you're pretty much out of luck, and will probably have to quit the case. Sorry. :-/

First off, there's no need to post your question in multiple boards. Someone will see it and answer it no matter where it is :)

If you've already asked the rest of your suspects for their motives, you may get lucky if you start asking townies for info on the case. Sometimes they can give you a new suspect name (if you haven't found that suspect already) who MAY give you your killer's motive when asked.

Barring all that, you may have to quit the case if you cannot get a motive for your killer.
