I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on. Please Answer by replying to this post.

1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?

2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?

3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?

Thanks
-Ben

I understand what you are saying Iury. I think that's a good idea. I'll try to see how I could work something like that into the game.

Haha good for you Iury I didn't even bother to read anything in the middle, just first and last pages. :-D I think Sleuth is one of the coolest internet games I've ever played (especially as far as role-playing goes) and I love how you can actually play for free if you want to...although I will add that after subscribing I never want to unsubscribe! I think the expansion was way cool and adds a nice level of difficulty that wasn't there previously...like I could definitely see how I could get bored after a while playing in just the regular old Sleuth but with four cities to explore, I think I have plenty of time for a new expansion before I think about getting bored. :-D Iury has a really good point that would make the game maybe a bit more interactive...I wonder even if there could be things like the little jobs that could be fixed so that you have to actually type in an answer rather than multiple choice? Anyhoo way to go Ben!

Re: Iury's post and Ben's response:

Ohhhhhhh noooooooooooo! Are we going to have to wear smarts gear in the middle of the game more often now? Wasn't surveillance bad enough? Isn't traveling enough of a pain already? No lockers? No hangers?! How will I cope?

Please make it questions to answer, not gear? Pretty please?

Ben:
I was very glad to read I gave you a good idea. I'm looking forward to any improves on that matter.

Moonshh:
I wasn't thinking about no locker... the locker would still be useful to save those items you're not willing to get rid of and to save some gear for the new agents that often join the agency. :)

Meglet:
That's a great idea, although I would hardly get those little jobs done if that should be implemented. :))) Maybe a better prize should be awarded to someone that gets the higher level with a political faction after this!

Yeah, after I gave it more thought, I think it's probably not a good idea to require smarts tests while talking to suspects. Otherwise, it would never be a good idea to wear the heavily charming or tough clothes, because they tend to be detrimental to smarts tests. The only equipment that would make sense to own would be the tough/smart gear or the charming/smart gear.

The advantage of the current system is that the are situations where all sorts of different equipment combos is useful.

There is another situation where smart gear is advantageous besides at the crime scene. It is helpful for increasing the chance of success when attempting to use the surveillance skill.

Sure, I agree with that. I just couldn't answer one question to myself: when are tough/smart, charm/smart combos useful?

Tough/smart and charm/smart are very useful when you are in other cities away from your headquarters, and can't get to a locker to change gear.
