In honor of that lousy waste of a month February being over, I have decided to hold the first-ever Sleuth March Madness Tournament!

The premise is pretty simple. We compile a list of 64 of the game's most recognizable players, seed them into a tournament bracket, and allow Sleuthville to vote for the "best" in each matchup.

Rules for eligibility:
You must be subscribed and over 30 days old
You must PM me with your intent to enter the tournament or to nominate an eligible member for the tournament. If you are nominating someone, you must also be subscribed and older than 30 days.
Entries and nominations should be messaged ASAP. As soon as we get 64, the seeding process will begin and the matchups will be posted.

After the initial bracket is filled, I will post a few matchups here every day. Then, the people involved in those matchups will have an opportunity to say "anything" on this thread that they feel will allow them to advance to the next round of competition. Sleuthville votes will be what decides the winners, and voting information will be coming soon.

The overall winner of this tournament will receive $100,000 sleuth cash.

Please begin sending your nominations and entries to me ASAP, and good luck!

Thanks Squirrel!

Even though I probably dont have any chance against Serges *blush*
(wel he came up with this great idea) it was hartwarming to read! Glad my efforts at moding and helping newbies didnt go un-noticed. *reda is now red*

No matter who you choose, Im very proud of training and/or working together with the greatest of Sleuth!

Im looking at my age (sleuth) and cant really get it. 3 years! have gone by.
Many great friends, many sleuth arguments and so many changes!

It is nice to remember all the faces that started this game when it was still in Beta.

It is really cool to see how this game developped and keeps on changing.

It makes me proud to see all the people who started their career in Fat Kitten and now have their own wonderfull agencies.

I'm glad Im still here :)

I just have to second everything that Paranoid Android said about Reda - and add that she is an AWESOME agency director. She spends a lot of time helping our newer agents, keeping an eye on equipment and generally just "being there" for us. She made me feel welcome at Fat Kitten right from the first day, and I know she does the same for everyone.

Much as I admire all the time and effort Serges has put into helping to develop Sleuth, without dedicated people like Reda the game would not run as smoothly as it does and that effort deserves recognition.

VOTE FOR REDA!!!!

Vote for CREXTIN!!!!!

Here's a director that comes up with ways to help keep the fun in sleuth! He is there to help all other agents and officers when needed. He is also active in helping generate the role-playing apect of the game withing the agnecy. A vote for crextin is a vote for new ideas and fun!!!!

Vote for Lulah, for her generosity, wisdom, the soft voice, the conciliatory ways, the delicate approach. The master of little things, the sweet low profile, Lulah is the force that keeps our agency together. She is the nicest person you’ve never met.

*blushes* I may not have been on much lately, but I do love you guys! This community has been great and I have made so many friends on here. I would appreciate your vote tomorrow. Saying that, I can also say that Kagome kicks patootie and she's a great chica!

Miss Violet Parr adjusted her large purple hat and prepared herself for her fifteen minutes of instant fame. She smiled at the reporter who sat opposite her, as he eyed her with intense suspicion.

“Who are you?” he asked.

“Why, I am Miss Violet Parr.” She smiled.

“But I mean who were you before you were Miss Parr?”

“I assure you Mr. Reporter, that contrary to what many may think, I have been no one before Miss Parr, and thus I am relatively new –only 90 odd days old.”

“Aha – you seem to be pretty at home here for someone new.”

“My integration within the community is due to both my interest in the game, if you will, and to finding such great friend through it –Lady Coco Cola.”

“So why should anyone bother with your existence again?”

Slightly irritated Miss Parr swallowed before she answered calmly. “Well… I have been very active on the stage, taking my acting career very seriously. I was promoted to Director relatively early on as well. I also try to be as welcoming as possible to new comers attempting to afford them the same hospitality that was afforded to me at the very start by Mr. Jojo, Miss Coco, Mr. SS, and Mr. Shoot7, in the hope that this community continues to grow and prosper.”

“Acting you say? But I see you are up against a legendary actress in her own right, Mrs. Breitkat.”

“Indeed, I am aware of that fact. I also hear she is pregnant, so I send her my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes. She and Dave deserve all the best. Breit has not only been a support for me on the stage, she is the main actress which I share all my work with.”

“So you expect to lose?”

Miss Parr pressed her lips together tightly. “No comment!”

“So can the media expect a nervous wreck, a total mental breakdown from your side once the results are announced?”

“No…” Miss Parr’s voice had dropped an octave. “…but I foresee some physical breakdowns on your part, if the path you are taking with these questions does not change.”

Lindy Sue who, hmmm....., what to say......., hmmm.......

Well, then. Let`s wrap this up then....

I would like to vote for Lindy Sue who. Who is right now probably sleeping with here nose in book.

She is the one that told me about this site and thus I thank her for introducing me to this world of mystery and intrigue that you may find in the real world but run from. (Or maybe that`s just me)

So once again thank you, and good luck..:D

As I sit here madly pondering what I should say that might "allow me to advance to the next round of competition," I come up with the same thing I have since the start of this tournament....I haven't the faintest idea. (sigh) So much for rousing endorsements. Oh well.

I would like to say this, though. As we proceed through these Awards of Recognition, I have maintained since the start of it, and will continue to believe until the end, that each and every one of these nominees is a Winner. All of them are among the best that this community has to show, and they wholeheartedly deserve the appreciation they're now getting.

Some are incredibly brilliant, some are amazingly creative, some are gut-bustingly funny, some are benevolently generous, some are compellingly effective leaders, some are the people who hide in the background, but make sure that nothing gets forgetten. All of them are extraordinary people, and we as a community rarely stop to take the time to thank them for their efforts.

It has been a privilege and an honor to know these people, and to share my life with them. I am deeply honored, humbled, and indebted to be in their company.

I wish the best of luck to all of the nominees in this Tournament, especially Miss Violet Parr. She is truly a Lady, and I do not deserve her kind regard, though I very much appreciate it.

Thank you all. ;-)
