Broken Flowers, Adaptation and The Anniversary Party because I felt like the filmmaker was just showing off from his bag of oh-so-original pretentious tricks for fooling an audience in each case.

Anything that has women in corsets and an outside chance of winning an Oscar for costume. No more adaptations of Victorian novels, please.

Anything where more of the dialogue is sung than spoken.

Anything that is clearly a vehicle for some poptart chanteuse du jour.

I hate them movies.

You?

OH! OH! Match Point. Woody Allen shouldn't even be around 12 year olds, let alone hiring them to write dialogue :P

Anything with Steven Seagal in it, apart from "Executive Decision", for three reasons. A GENUINE noprize for anyone who can get the three reasons why this is a great film even though that fat prejudiced meshugennah is in it....

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.

Fortunately, the girl I took (on a DATE) to see that movie was at least as big a turbo-geek as I was, so we dealt with the horrible plot, then went home and played Risk.

Sadly, that is not code for anything.

Only good thing about Executive Decision was that Steven Segal died. But hey, at least I didn't pay to see that waste of celluloid.

Worst film ever... Nothing but Trouble with Demi Moore, Chevy Chase and John Candy. I think I'd sit through a Steven Segal/ Jessica Simpson/ Paris Hilton Marathon before willingly seeing that again.

*sniffle* I miss Serges.

I think the most awful movie I've seen was another Woody Allen movie, I can't remember the name of it, but it starred Jason Biggs and Christina Ricci and I walked out after the first boring ass half hour. Worst case of blowing money on a movie EVER.

Gummo... If you've never heard of it, you're better off than I. The worst part is, I've watched it NUMEROUS times... And then went out and BOUGHT it. I'm still not sure why.

Okay, here's one from the Disney Channel.

Return to Halloweentown

I mean, really, who needs 4 movies about the same characters doing the same exact thing? On top of that, they don't even use the same actress they've used for the first three films, but use one that doesn't do the part any justice and frankly angers me about all the Disney Channel movies in general.

END RANT.

Movies I hate and why:

Flushed Away - Setting ranges from the bathroom toilet to the sewer. Movies like this tend to contain bathroom humor.

Billy and Mandy's Big Boogie Adventure - Cartoon Network Original Movie (TV and DVD only I think).; I hate it because just like the show, it contains too much gross-out humor. I used to like the show until it became more gross than funny.

Many novel based films (except maybe Harry Potter) - What can I say? They cut out too much that was on the book and they make changes not seen in the book.

Any film that portrays Neo-Nazi skinheads or Racists as protagonists in a non-comedy film (namely, *cough*Romper Stomper*cough*) - What can I say here also? I hate racists obviously. If Romper Stomper was just a satire film, I would watch it.
