Todays update added the first in a series of Featured Mysteries. Please post any comments or questions and report any bugs concerning Featured Mysteries here.

Also, please don't post any spoilers about the Mystery itself on the boards, or at least warn if you are going to.

Thanks,
Enjoy.

Congratulations, Kay. You were the second player to successfully complete it.

Yeah, I just spotted one funny typo. The first time you interview Clarissa, it refers to the victim as The Madonna, rather than just Madonna. I guess that would make the case pretty important.

Please post any typos here, unless doing so would give away info about solving the case, in which case you can just send me a private message.

Oh yeah, one more thing.

I am considering providing an interface where players can submit their own featured mysteries. Of course, if I used a mystery submitted by someone, I would compensate them with a free subscription.

I don't know how many of you would be interested in something like that, but if anybody is, I could get to work on an authoring system.

Speaking as almost the first person to solve the mystery (Nicholas is part of my agency), I have to say it was great. The story acually pulled me in, which helped immensely.

Awww :( I can't play until tomorrow. I should have saved a case spot for it! ;-)

Yeah, it is official:

Nichols Ardenwart of Angel Investigations was the first to complete this Featured Mystery. He has been awarded with a Magic Top Hat. Congrats.

Maybe for upcoming Featured Mysteries we can have events where they are unveiled at a specific time so that players can have a fair race. Something for all you speed readers out there.

I'm so not a speed reader, but I loved the story - and the hat. Thanks ;)

I haven't played it yet (was already out of mysteries for the day), but I just wanted to say that a possible authoring system sounds like a sweet idea. I'd love the chance to put together a quality mystery that, if good enough, other detectives might be able to play...
