Here, today's weather was brought to you by the letter S. S is for school (not open), sleet (what nature is doing), sucky (what sleet is), and "stay home from work" (what most of the town seems to be doing).

By the way, the weather is ALL crunchpatty's fault. Dude, stop sending me all the nasty, cold, crap you don't want.

If you and I ran directly towards each other traveling at the same speed, when we met I would totally knock you over.

Betty Botter had some butter,
"But," she said, "this butter's bitter.
If I bake this bitter butter,
it would make my batter bitter.
But a bit of better butter--
that would make my batter better."

So she bought a bit of butter,
better than her bitter butter,
and she baked it in her batter,
and the batter was not bitter.
So 'twas better Betty Botter
bought a bit of better butter.

3 hour games of Phase 10 that started at 10 pm are not necessarily a bad thing. But they sure don't help the sleep thing.

Naming all the animals must have been hard. I mean, with flies, it was probably pretty easy. All you had to do was look at it and go "holy crap, that tiny little bugger is flying. I'm a smarty. I'll just call it a fly."

waaaaaaaaay harder with platypus (platypi?) and llamas.

in support of this line of thinking, I submit that llama is spanish for "name". My theory is the guy who first encountered a llama was a really, really bored Spaniard, who just gave up on the whole process and said to himself "hey there ugly horse, you're too ugly to rate a name. Im'ma jut call you "name".
