Why am I not getting skill pts?

As my difficulty in cases increase, I notice I'm being rewarded fewer and fewer skill points, even if I go back and play an easier case. I'm at a point where I'm lucky if I get one skill point for completing a favor correctly because I'm not getting any for winning paying cases. What gives?

Because the more experience you have the more it takes to earn a single Skill Point. At first you receive 1 Skill Point every 10 exp points, then you get 1 every 20 exp, then every 30 or 40 (I don't remember which one), and so on - as you get more experienced it takes longer and longer to get a Skill Point, so spend them wisely.

I highly recommend you to read the Welcome Newbies thread.

When you get up to very high levels of experience it takes 40,000-50,000 exp points to get a skill point. Cfm is absolutely right--spend your skill points wisely.
