As it is my great concern to save the mods a heck lot of work and prevent too many impatient players to wait in line....I would hereby like to suggest that each player should be able to upload his/her own avatar. Avatars that are meant for illustrating the cases could be kept separately to maintain the "noir" atmosphere of Sleuth.

That would be a great idea Badass :) And I've been mulling around a suggestion of a similar kind. Especially since I've only just caught up on the backlog since my home PC died.

How easy that would be to implement I don't know?

I do know what quality, sizes etc get sent in.

I'm not sure how an upload process that automatically colour corrected/resized and cropped would work. Lol nor am I sure how an automatic process would for example know that a cow (LOL) was not really in keeping with the game theme (private, noir or otherwise)

And 'impatient'? Sleuthers? About part of the game that's a freebie? Surely not :D

I still like the idea though.

An automatic process also has problems detecting inappropriate content that certain juveniles would try and load.

If it weren't for the fact that avatars needed to be resized, de-colorized, and screened for appropriateness, I would wholehearted agree that an instant upload feature would be useful.

However, it seems as though manual preparation is essential and as such, the current email method seems to work fine based on the circumstances.

Yes, we can't have those juveniles doing funny things around here. I guess it's not such a good idea after all...

Maybe we should just get rid of the juveniles...

I have found that some of the juveniles take the game much more seriously (and become very good team members) than some of the adults here.

It does not matter how old you are it matter how well you can play the game.

oh and PS: Juveniles does NOT equal teens in that posts :)

I find it to be more of an attitude than an age issue

Agrees with Biggie that attitude is almost everything.
