Anyone have memories of the 90's just feel free to post them here.

I, myself, was born in 82 but mainly grew up in the 90's or at least my memories are in the 90's. I know, I'm a youngun.

It strikes me (as I sit here with the theme music to Melrose Place permanently tattooed across my consciousness so deeply that every time I see an ad for 'Desperate Housewives' with Marcia Cross in it, my knee twitches and I scream "Where's your scar now, Marcia?")...that the 90's were a decade without a definitive spirit. Whereas the cold materialism of the 80's was very clearly a response to the 'what-feels-good-hedonism' of the 70s, which itself was probably a reaction to the 60s rejection of the 'just don't-feel-anything' 50's.

lol that said...I remember EXACTLY what kind of sandwich I was making when the O.J. verdict came in.

Tuna salad. Take that, Lance Ito...

Lilangel, we played ms. mary mack when I was a kid (that would be early '70's) and my mom played it when she was a kid (you don't wanna know). That game has been around for decades!

I was a workaholic during the '90's, so I'm fuzzy on most of the pop culture. Thinking back, it was probably a good thing. Definitely agreeing with Crunchpatty regarding the lack of definitive spirit. And I don't remember where I was or what I was doing when the O.J. verdict came in, but I do remember laughing my ass off while watching the 'harrowing' Bronco ride that kicked off the whole fiasco.
