I got a felt cape as a reward from the banker, but for some reason the game wants to place it in my "hand" slot. I had to seel my brass knuckles to get it. Shouldn't the felt cape be in the "coat" slot?

Lazarus,
This was reported earlier as a possible bug (in the beta testing forum). Ben's response:
Yeah, the cape is considered an accessory, although maybe I should change that. It would definitely look funny to wear that thing over a coat, wouldn't it.

Thanks, Fat Chuck, I din't see the "next" at the bottom of the bug report thread.

For the record, I agree that the cape should be a coat, and not an accessory.
That said, I'm in a difficult situation now. If I change it to a coat, I have to go through all the characters who have both a cape and some other coat, and make a arbitrary decision about whether they would rather have their existing coat, or the cape. Of course, I would award them money for whatever piece of equipment I drop from their inventory, but it's still a headache.

Maybe you could make two objects in the program -- an old cape (which everyone who has can keep in their hand), but then from now on any new capes are used as coats?

Or (if there's trouble calling two objects the same thing), change all the existing felt capes to scarves or sweatbands or somethin' else stylish.
