Hey guys I'm not really a newbie anymore but this thread fits in best here. I need some advice about what skill I should take next, I already have all the smarts and tough except for stress detection. I need to know wheather I should get stress detection or a faction skill ( I have none of them except for pugilism). And if I should get a faction skill which one should I get.
Thanks in advance <;o)X

I'd go with a faction skill over stress detection; I consider surveillance and hypnotism good skills to get... UC is nice but rarely necessary, pickpocketing is convenient at best, and safecracking would totally depend on your agency mechanics.

Don't forget to get one of the new skills though while you have the points, if you haven't already!

Think I would wait with Stress Detection. It's a nice skill to have, once you have it, but it's not one that will give you an extra edge as such for getting through a case.

That takes us to the faction skills, and out of those I'd suggest (depending on what your plans are) either:
Hypnotism - will get you additional names when asking for suspects from some of those you talk to, and help get you the full list a little faster.
Underworld Connections - lets you find suspects who've gone into hiding without bothering with the townies.
or One of the two new faction skills

If your plans are to stay where you are and solve regular cases, I'd choose Hypnotism, if you want to go for AV hunts, I'd either choose Hypnotism or Underworld Connections, but if you want to go to Cairo, I'd definitely aim for one of the new ones :)

'K thanks guys I need to get an AV first though before I get any of the new skills so I'll go with some of the 'old' faction skills.
Thanks
