Registration is NOW being accepted for the October 10th beta test of the Dart Leagues in the AVL ("Arch Villain League").

I need 36 volunteers total to test everything, with the following stipulations:

2 sets of 6 detectives from the same agency (6 Hitchhikers & 6 Sirens, for example)

4 sets of 3 detectives from the same agency (3 Omega, 3 Blood & Dagger, 3 Fat Kitten, 3 SMRT Investigations, for example)

2 sets of 3-man teams regardless of agency affiliation

6 testers who will be teamed up at random.

If you are interested in learning about the AVL or becoming a Beta-Tester, please go to:

www.liquidkourage.net/sleuth

for more information.

If you have already talked to me about being a beta-tester, please PM me for your favlidation code.

I would just like to say a HUGE thank you to Serges for all his hard work sorting this AVL buso out and making it so bloody ... well... good!! This seems to be nothing more than a labour of love on his behalf, and to me that speaks a thousandfold as to what kind of guy he is. Ok enough of the warm fuzzies, I'm sure others can do it better than I.

Just thanks Serges!

And on a personal note "Go nuts"! & "In your face X!" :D

Hey, I can be a gracious looser..specially since I have no one else to blame. Congrats to the nuts for a job well done. And to my team mates, thanks for everything. We'll get 'em next time guys!

Also, huge hugs, kudos, and thanks to Serges for putting this together. You rock man!

***UPDATE***

Squirrel's Nuts and The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly are the respective winners of the Winner's matches. Congratulations to these teams, who have proven their merit in Villain Hunting.

There is currently a 6-way tie for #1 on the AVL scoreboard: Secret_Squirrel, Arabella Parker, Kagome_70, Ms Helen Corning, Carrie Mehome, and woody1 have all reached level 2 already. Congratulations on that accomplishment as well!

Biggie528 has been chosen as the AVL's third Admin. Her insight and help has been instrumental in shaping the present and future courses of the AVL, and her contributions have not gone unappreciated.

Remember, the Gamma test is scheduled for Dec. 1st, so ANYONE who can do Villain Hunts is encouraged to register and check out this rapidly-growing aspect of Sleuth!

Please note, for those that have inquired about how to register for the AVL, that the registration form can be found at www.liquidkourage.net/sleuth... I intend on updating the form itself in the next few days since much of it is beta-specific, but for now just disregard any team/division info it asks you for... the form will still work fine.

Just so everyone knows the AVL is coming along great! I have seen some of the inside workings and I can say from an inside perspective Serges is working very hard to make this a huge compliment to Sleuth. If you haven't gotten in yet...REGISTER!!!

On a side note anyone at anytime that feels like doing any sort of match in the AVL PM through AVL or Sleuth. 'Cuz I am a villian hunting addict! However, I have to give first priority to my awesome teammates of "The Nuts" 'cuz well we rule!!!!

***UPDATE***

The process of preparing the AVL for gamma is coming along VERY well. In the process of talking ideas over between admins, we have come up with SEVERAL new aspects of the AVL site. You will begin to see them added to the current site over the next few days, although most of them will not be "available" until gamma and afterwards.
Please note that just about any information about these new aspects is considered "spoiler" information and is known only by the 4 AVL admins, who aren't going to be talking...yet...

Speaking of Admins, the AVL family has expanded with the promotions of Biggie528 and Kagome_70. The hard work and dedication these 2 have shown over the last few weeks has been an invaluable asset to the growth of the AVL, and we are fortunate to have them.

The start date for all Gamma matches will be Dec. 1st, 2006. The goal is to have those matches available to join by November 24th. Please note that different people in the AVL will have different access to match functions; this is NOT a bug, but another aspect of the AVL that is considered spoiler-ish at this time.

Also, please note that the Grudge Match system will be tested during Gamma, but it will be done privately. There is a legitimate reason for this, however it too would be considered "spoiler" information.

I hope to have an AVL message board system up within the next week. I would LOVE to see the chatter that comes up regarding these new changes!

We are currently showing 35 members in the AVL. Bearing in mind that not all members will actively compete in Gamma matches, we need more. I would love to see 50 members by Dec. 1st. Seeing as more than that many people have done villain hunts, it shouldn't be difficult. Spread the word to your friends and teammates... ANYONE subscribed with over 100,000 experience can join the AVL.

Comments, questions, etc... you know how to reach us.

Dasuo, you'll need to be subscribed to take part in the AVL and the Villain Hunts are for people who are little more experienced than you (as well as being subscribed), as you have to be able to do Almost Impossible cases. :)

Don't let that curb your enthusiasm as the AVL is a great idea, and when you're subscribed and experienced I look forward to whipping your team's butt :)

Ahh Pearl he can only dream of being on SS's team, as I do :)

Listen I just wanted to let everyone know, we are progressing along nicely to gamma, but a couple things I just wanted to clarify so everyone understood....

a) Registering for the AVL does NOT mean that you are signing up to participate in gamma, you are free to play or not play if you choose. I encourage everyone to at least register, so you can check out some of the features, see what its all about, etc.

b) Participating in the AVL does not mean you're doing extra work. In fact, all you are doing is working an AV hunt like any other :)

c) any of us Admins are always available to answer questions if you have them, so please feel free to pm any of us

Can't wait to see all your names on the site!
