Difficult - it all depends whose life you are saving. Going on the assumption that the life I save might be that of a despot while the love of my life might be lost anyway, I choose:

I'd rather neither! I suppose if I got hit by a truck it'd only potentially traumatise the driver, whereas if it was a bus there'd be all the passengers as well.

Lewis Carroll, as he keeps fooling the world with LSD from his grave, making Jefferson Airplane's songs sound like an experimental breach into the divine, makes me laugh.
