This is a whine ,, only a whine. My last 4 favors have been for the fortune teller. It would not be so bad if I did not already have the
fortune teller as my contact. I am trying to get my PE contact in London and have about 160,000 experience points.

Has anyone else been in a situation like this?

I'm not so sure acquiring contacts has anything to do with experience points. I think it's more about how many favor cases you get through.

When I decided that getting contacts was more important than skill points, I plowed through easy cases to get to the favor cases faster. I managed to get my contacts in Shanghai, London, and Delhi in a little over a week.

There is a way to get not only "A" contact, but the exact one you want! ;-)

Let me clarify that: there is a way to get a specific contact without having to turn down favors for other townspeople. ;-)

yes, there is a way, other than quitting favors, to get the contact you want. I think it's the most subtle aspect of the game, and it shows true genius behind the game's creation! (Kudos, Ben)
