How do weekly high scores work?

Hi - not a big deal, but just curious. I've been playing for 3 days and have solved 23 cases, and yet there are players on the weekly top 10 board that have solved between 18 and 22 cases and I'm not listed. Does this have to do with the difficulty of the cases solved? (I'm slightly competetive - so sue me).

The formula for the weekly score is your wins - (quits + false_accusations). There are a couple of specifics that can be confusing. The first is that successfully completed favors don't count towards your win total. The second is that false accusations that you have paid to have removed from your record still impact your weekly score.
