Is this happening to anyone else, or is it just me?

The last two times I've tried to travel for my AV hunt, I've been pirated twice in a row. By the time I get to the other city I've lost an entire day's play!

The "twice in a row" thing has happened before to me as well. Right now I just played a couple cases, got pirated twice and now I'm stuck here and have to wait until tomorrow to do anything... but I just got my new cases an hour and half ago. =(

The first few times I tried to travel one right after the other.
This time I waited awhile... and it still happened. Maybe I didn't wait long enough? I just assume it's random like everything else, but maybe it's not... maybe it's based on time?

Is this normal? It's driving me crazy! I wait up to get new cases, play a couple and then lose all the rest to Pirates! (Yes, I know I'm complaining... lol. I'm just frustrated!)

(Mods, if this is considered a spoiler and you have to erase it, do you have any thoughts on this that you could PM me?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

lol you'll have to ask cfm. She spent a great deal of time on any sea-going vessel that woud take her, trying to lure an unwitting pirate her way. Lot of prowling back and forth on deck, tossing her tresses in a comely manner, and flashing her garter belt at any hint of a black sail on the horizon. I think it finally happened. I assume she let them go err I mean they let her go ...

Aargh, well, you know what they say, once you say it hasnt happen it does. Cost me $4000 and 3 cases. Glad I had my travel kit with me.

*Realises now that pirating is a very sedate affair, and didn't even get to use his mighty toughness*

Now I'm off to try and get my money back...

Getting pirated stinks!
Just now on my second detective, I had 6 cases left and needed to go to Dehli to try to get another favor for the hunt. I had my travel case, so 3 cases to travel plus 3 more to get the new favor..It was all good. Then I got pirated so I lost 3 cases and now I can get to Dehli, but it is pointless since I can't get a favor!

GRRR!!!!!!

My least favourite Pirate experience was when it took me 12 turns and $12000 to get to Delhi. Five minutes after my new cases were loaded.

At least I got to bed early that night.

I change my mind. My new least favourite is right now. Three times in a row I've been pirated. THREE times in a row!

I avoid the friendly pirates by constantly doing arch villian hunts.
