This is a very simple and fun game. The first person makes a wish, and each following person finds some way to corrupt the wish and then makes a new wish. For example:

Person 1. I wish I had a dog

Person 2. You have a dog, but it dies the day after you get it

I wish I had a muffin

Person 3: You get a muffin, but you drop it and have to throw it away.

And so on.

Your firt wish to corrupt is this:

I wish I had a new car.

"Hee hee hee. That's new, my hand feels funny. Ha, ha, ha. Oh, that's cuz it's burning. Ho ho ho, I knew I forgot to turn off the stove. Ha, ha, ha, yet I can't seem to pull my hand away. Hee, hee, hee, look at it turn red."

Or

"Laura, there's something I need to tell you. I'm terminally ill."
"Hee, hee, hee, hee, hee. Sorry, what was that? Ha ha ha ha ha. Everything's wonderful. The world's just soo wonderful."

I wish I hadn't granted Laura her wish just now. Her weird state of mind is starting to get to me.

Your wish is granted, Laura's wish has been reversed. She is in constant pain which means she blames you for it and thus sues you for damages.

I wish my kids would go to sleep tonight so I can work on cases!

Granted, but once you go to work on your cases, your computer suffers a fatal error and explodes.

You know what to wish for and just as you go to type it your wrist begins to hurt, and so you give up on typing the wish and pain goes away, after awhile you decide to try and type it again, and again your wrist begins to throb...you give up trying to communicate your wish.

I wish that Cow Ward II would give me a job.

I wish my neighbours would not have left their overly-exciteable dog outside in the dark, which it is not used to.

You do, but can't quite... seem... to remember how you were going to corrupt it. In fact, you can't seem to remember much of anything at all. Hmmm... can you say early onset Alzheimers?

I wish that with a flick of a Disney-ish magic wand, I could un-corrupt everyone's wishes.
