this is probably not the first time this has been brought up, and I apologize if it's a repeat topic, but is anyone else having trouble dressing for tough? Every high point tough piece of clothing has at least one or two negative points for either charm and/or smarts. I think we need to have a jacket that's tough, but with a secret compartment in it that you can hide another piece in it. You could put inany extra piece of equip. that would help with stats, but because it's secret, the only person who could see what you have in there is you. What do you think?

Yeah I've had a hard time with that too, you don't know how many times I've wished I was charming instead of tough....

I just hope I get a sweet Neil Young tour jacket too (and how come the bar has to be charming????)

Alright ladies, calm down. One at a time. The ogling line forms to the left.

Step right up ladies! Come feel my snazzy new jacket! It's tough-tastic and smart-alicious!

Hey now, yall think it is easy looking charming around here?. Look at my pimped out outfit and laugh all you like. Most items that are high in charm or tough are low in boht of the other two areas simply to keep a ballance and keep things fair. The only thing i know of that is smart and charming is the Mother of Pearl Opera glasses, which used to be prime traveling materials. If i am not mistaken the steel briefcase does the same thing for tough and smart( namely a combination of 4 and 3). Serges can keep his Neil Young Jacket as biggie calls it cause he does not have my pimped out shirt :).

I have to say calalta, I love your 'pimped out' shirt, but would you please wear some pants!!!

;)

I have noticed the difference in the gear, and agree that charming is a bit easier to dress for. Finding the balancing point and best combination just got harder with all the great new gear from the AV hunts.

lol, yeah but do you let him wear the shirt???

j/k...calalta be P.I.M.P.I.N it like it owed him money.

And the Neil Young jacket? The leather says "Like a Hurricane", the fringes say "Heart of Gold" and the cut says "I've seen the needle and the damage done". For my money, that's tough, charming AND smart :P

agreed on all points
Interesting, because in most of the classical detective lit, the hero is both tough and smart.
And lucky, maybe we could add another category- plain dumb luck.

And in reference to calalta's statement about the steel briefcase it actually a 2/4 combination
