We made some changes to the villain hunt clues today.

Most of these changes are intended to make them easier to read, and we cleaned up a few clues that were commonly misunderstood.

The bad news is, there were a couple situations where specific co-conspirators/hideouts that were impossible to narrow down to a single option, even with all the clues.

This was my mistake, and I’m really really sorry for the frustration it has caused people. Because of the random nature of these hunts, and the length they can take to complete, these situations were difficult to detect.

The missing clues have been added for those townies, so I’m now confident there are no longer any situations where somebody should have to guess on a villain hunt, as long as they are patient enough to get all the clues.

Ms. biggie,

Thank you. It's just another level of humiliation on top of failing my first 2 villain hunts. To be as charming as possible, I have to dress like a woman. Motivation for doing the villain hunts is to try and get some masculine charming gear. I'm hoping there are items to be had.

My social life will suffer during my hunt, I'm afraid. I just hope my girlfriend understands.

Ms. Lin,

I'll have it taken back in before I return it. Many thanks.

You were wearing better shoes than me on our first date Barry. They were not a problem for long as I recall...

Also, Trey asked me to ask you to have the dress dry cleaned too.

hey dry cleaning does wonders, but if you pulled a "Monica", you may just be out of luck

Bugger! (quaint Yorkshire expression of - my first villain hunt (thanks Biggie) ended up with 8 clues in a row giving me only enough clues to choose between 2 - and I chose the wrong one.....BUGGER!

Ben - I have no reason to complain - I enjoyed every minute and the final risk was worth it. (Kowtow, kowtow.....we are not worthy......kowtow.....repeat...)

Is there any way to recheck your clues once they have been given to you, Or should I be writing these down somewhere?

Lia - no, there's no way to recheck so you should DEFINITELY be writing them down. In like nine different secure locations :P

I would say "Give that lady a cigar", but that would be tasteless.....

I have begun another Arch Villain hunt with all the advice given to me here and I must say I am less frustrated.

That being said, I was wondering if anyone can top this stat:

24 successfully solved VH cases in one city but only 3 different clues.

24 bets my record of 23 cases in one city. That was on my 2nd hunt ever.. Total of 52 solved cases to finally catch the villain.
