1. Means that this suspect has an opinion as to who the killer is. This does NOT mean that this suspect's opinion is accurate.

2. It doesn't. Only the evidence that you find there is useful, the description is just for flavour.

3. Having the hair analysis skill allows you to find hairs. It does NOT always gurantee that you will learn whether the hairs are curly or straight. Even with advanced hair analysis you don't always get the detailed description.

4. This feature is really only useful for Arch Villain hunting at this time, which doesn't apply to you because you are unsubscribed, so don't worry - you aren't missing anything.

5. No. Missions involve travelling between cities - again only for the subscribed.

6. Learn it and love it!

1 piece of witness evidence + False or no alibi = guilty
1 piece of physical evidence + False or no alibi = guilty
2 pieces of witness evidence = guilty

Take some time to look through the 'Welcome Newbies' thread at the top of the Newbie board page - you'll be glad you did.
Have fun!

Ad3: Also only one piece of physical evidence will belong to the killer, the others will belong to suspects will real alibis - granted that you have the skills to find all the evidence (i.e. basic hair and thread analysis) at the crime scene
Ad4: You could always try asking about Lucy ;)
Ad6: There's also the Sleuth Helper which is linked to from the Sleuth Community Sites - the Helper has the formulas for the various levels, but you need to be aware that it isn't entirely up to date and that some information is lacking :)
