We were not able to do the equipment upgrade on Saturday night, so we're going to try again tomorrow.

The game server will be taken down for some major upgrades at 9pm MDT, Thursday the 24th. The game will be unplayable for approximately 1.5 hours.

This is part of a process to increase Sleuth's service capacity and improve performance. We will probably have a few shorter periods of downtime through Friday, but we'll try to keep them as short as possible.

I know this is a ridiculously petty, selfish question - but, will new Avatars be uploaded at this time. I can't wait to get my new girlish figure!!!

Whew! Thank goodness I will be busy tonight, and wont be going nuts, while Sleuth is down hehehe :)

The server change-a-roo went well, so the game is up again. We are not yet running on the new servers because there are some configuration changes I need to make. Hopefully we can complete the switch tomorrow (Friday).

Sorry Fatima, the next batch of avatars won't be up until next week.

OK, we've switched over to the new database server. I we don't spot any new errors pop up, we'll finish up the move later tonight or tomorrow.

We've now completely switched over to the new servers. I don't expect any additional downtime until the expansion launches on Monday. Sorry abouth the interruptions over the last few days.

Hopefully, the game be much faster and more stable now. It should also be able to sustain a higher number of simultaneous users (just how many is an open question).
