I am just wondering about the levels, from beginner, easy, intermediate and so on, do i have to wait until something comes up and tell me that I have to go to the next level or I'll just have to decide myself if I want to play beginner forever or jump to the next level easy or intermediate? You see I've been playing beginner for quiet a while and some of the cases seems like I've done it before so I felt like moving to the next level (level easy) but I don't get anything yet telling me to move to the next level. Anyway I've solved intermediate cases from favors and I've been successful with those cases.

Hi, welcome to Sleuth. :)

You won't get any messages telling when to move up cases. Once you reach 200 exp, the beginner cases will close off and you will have to at least easy cases. But Beginner cases are the only levels that close.

The other levels will open up as your exp increases. If you're interested in how much exp you need to open a given level, just roll your cursor over the grey link and you should get a little tag telling you.

Just keep on collecting your skills and trying harder cases every now and then. But by all means, never guess! Follow the formulas in the "Welcome Newbies" thread or the Newbie FAQ.

Hope that helps, and welcome to your new addiction. ;)

And Koken Ann, the cases are randomly generated, so each one is unique.
