Couple of questions before I make a "guess" on a favor...

So to sum up...

I have found 6 people...

1) Dead chick who I could not confirm alibi is not suspected by #2.
2) no alibi knows something, 1st thread is not his.
3) Fake alibi, 1st and 2nd thread do not match.
4) no alibi and not suspected by #2.
5) alibi
6) alibi
7) ?

Questions...

Can there be more than one murderer?

If yes; I have two pieces of thread, does that mean that there will be two (or more) murderers or can they both point to the same suspect?

If no, can evidence be entirely useless and NOT identify a murderers?

PE+Fake/"none of your busineess" Alibi=guilty
WE+Fake/"none of your business" Alibi=guilty
2 WE = guilty

PE=Physical Evidence WE=Witness Evidence

If you don't have one of the above, you are better off quitting than guessing. If you get two false accuastions, be sure to pay Shady to clear your record. 3 falses will result in retirement of your detective and you'll have to start over with a new name and everything.

There can only be one murderer, but only one piece of evidence will be long to the killer. All other evidence will belong to people with a real alibi.

Depending on what level case you are working, it is possible you are missing evidence.

Dead people are never guilty.

Hope that helps! :) Happy Sleuthing!

Yes, that is very helpful! Thank you very much.

The case is intermediate if it matters. I wish I had not clicked the wrong name when I was checking WE :P

If you ask Reda with a smile, she'll send you a list of the number of suspects, fake alibis, and I think she includes the evidence, but I'm not certain. ;)

The Sleuth Helper also has this information, but I've heard it needs updating.

I only suspect count on the incred level for favors, so I really don't know the information myself. Sorry. :)

Reviewing some notes I have... The priest tells me so and so has not heard or seen anything suspicious, does that make THEM innocent or just that they know no information about anyone else?

Just that they won't give you eye witness information if you ask them. Their answer will always be "no".
