I tried playing Dead Awaken, and hated it.

Sorry Badass I did not see that option on their site. PM me with the details so I can check it out that way please?

Cross promotion is part of the bedrock of the internet and the world wide web. It works better for all when people share.

As someone who is not subscribed and took about a month to find an opportunity to log in since the new rule, I must say that the new rule seems fair. If or when I subscribe, I'm going to want to get as much speed out of the server as possible. Since I haven't paid a dime yet, I suppose I'm getting my just desserts. And, frankly, I feel fortunate that I'm even allowed to play at all.

I have to admit, the new stuff coming out in August is making my wallet jump around in my pocket. I'll have to start brown-bagging it for lunch or try to pick up some side jobs like serving subpoenas.

Does anyone have a subpoena they need served? Forget it, I may not be able to log in for another month. I'll go to City Hall and see what I can pick up there.

*sigh*

Barry, a subscription runs you the price of ONE lunch. Brown bag it one day, and SUBSCRIBE! I'll send you a PB&J myself!

Seriously, even if you just do the month for five bucks, give or take, it will give you an idea of what you get for the subscription...I'm planning on the year next time! This game is great on its own, but try it with the agencies and all the other options, and I guarantee you'll put off having children to save money for sleuth! :)

Ms. Biggie:

I'm not sure only 1 month will give me the true subbed experience. As I understand it, being associated with an agency greatly enhances the experience and I doubt any agency would want to "put me up" for only a month.

Also, I'm only using the poverty excuse to cover up the real reason I can't subscribe. And I'm only revealing this because you sort of hit the nail with the children comment. I don't have any children, nor do I have a significant other with whom to create them yet. I need my spare time to work on THAT project!

Now I gotta go get a shave and a shine!

*tips hat*

Barry, don't sell your self short.

There are lots of agencies that would be glad to have a detective for a month. You are one of many unsubbed detectives that I am sure could help out an agency. And we have often had people come in for a short time in our agencies. Some move on to form their own agencies, some move to quieter agencies.
