I don't get all this commotion about limited access for non-subbed players. The game already allows a lot of facilities for free. Are there that many online games that offer such a great deal of shareware?

I can understand the decision for allowing subscribed players more opportunities to be able to play. Everybody wants something in return for what they pay for. Is this a privilege? The fact that you are able to do some free-riding because others pay for this game is what I call a privilege.

Can anyone give an example of a game that allows equal access to Non-subscribers?

I have participated in several beta tests where we all had equal footing but when the game went live and the pay version was up the subscribers always get the better options and better access.

Are there actually games out there that give away the same thing to those who do not subscribe the same as the paying customers?

hey, Celia Scarlet, you are not on your own. I haven't subscribed. I NEVER spend money on a game. if it was a real life incident, then yes, I would. But, just so you know, you are not on your own.

I am not subscrbed. Yes, it's annoying when you can't log on, but oh very very fair. Like BadAss said, we are doing some free-riding because others pay. This game was not made for charity, and a lot of hard work has been and is being put into it. I would have subscribed, but as I'm in Egypt (where $1 = 6 pounds), and as I'm barely making ends meet, it is not a wise or practical decision. I'm content with all the times I've managed to squeeze in when there were 59 players :)

Josie, once you reach 7 days old, you can only log on when there are less than 60 detectives on.

Subscribed detectives can log on no matter what.

This is a new rule in effect to help subscribed detectives make better use of their gameplay time.

Ouch... I'm like 5 days old by now and a shiver is running up my spine for certain.

Case is, my time zone is way different than that of the server so hopefully I have some luck there. Usually there are like 58 detectives when I'm on and I seriously will just hope I'm one of the last 2 to get in before it is 60. My dad just doesn't let me subscribe to online things. :(

Yun-Harla,my parents don't even let me send my e-mail address to online contests.
Even if the contest is something my parents know is safe for me to enter.
