Okay, I think this has happened to me twice:

You know whenever you do a random mystery and after you've interviewed some suspects or somthing, there's this screen that either has the political factions related to the case, or something to scare you off? (like, someone who looks like the victim is on the street, or someone tries to kill you?) Well, I've gotten ones where someone says something like: "There's more to this mystery than you think..." and when you solve the case, after, the mysterious person who told you that says that the murderer was actually someone they were looking for and now that she's/he's in jail, they can't ask her/him any questions about what they used to do, so basically, the mysterious person is angry at you because you messed up their case.

(Tell me if I have to be more clear on the situation)

Okay, my question is that: what if you had quit a case on something like that? Does something "good" happen to the mysterious person? Should I even be worrying about this!?

Thanks in advance!

Oh, thank you! I was always worried that I was doing something wrong, 'cause the ending would say that the person was mad at me for having the guy in jail!

Thanks!

One of the perils of being a gumshoe--someone's always mad at you. You just can't win, some days..... ;)

yeah I know I think there are at least 3 or 4 kids missing because I didnt quite. Thats the nature of the beast here. But the only ones that even matter are the faction standing cases. And I still dont quite those unless I just cant solve it.
