The time is here to start invitations to Mojo Enterprises.

http://www.geocities.com/sleuth.mojo/home.html

This is a group effort by several detectives to create a fun, helpful and competitive enviroment for people to participate in.

We welcome you to look over our guidelines, our code of conduct and mission statement.

To show that we want to help everyone we are also posting for the first ime in public some (not all ;) ) of Mojo's hunting guidelines.

I agree I would hate to see sleuth become nothing more than a bunch of agency alliances. But with that said, maybe if agencies want to form alliances it should be offical. Turn them into a corparation and charge them a corparate tax for the privilage. After all we pay rent for the privilage of having the benefits that an agency gives us.

Just a thought.

No...if people want to continue discussing multiple agencies , a new thread should be made,as was suggested, not singling out one agency as the topic thread, when there are other agencies who have more than one agency, too. This is an ad supposed to be for recruiting people and should stay here. Unless you meant make a topic on Sleuth talk. Which, Ive said enough so have no desire to continue talking about it. :) Everyone else can,by all means lol ;)

I hate to do this, but I think we may need to get back to the subject: Joining Mojo

*is the one who should be talking about staying on-topic*

If you wish to join Mojo, post. If you have a question about Mojo, post. If you want to debate this, go elsewhere.

I dont usually say much on the boards and I dont want anybody to take this the wrong way as I have nothing against what other agencies do. All I have to say is that there doesnt seem to be any great advantage to any big conglomeration as we have never been involved in that way. We work hard and seem to be fairly successful just the way we are. If you check us out you will see that we have 3 unsubsribed members 1 inactive and 1 new member that hasnt played much. We are basically the same age as Mojos and seem to be able to stay fairly close to them on the boards so I dont see any great advantage if you want to be successful and have fun all it takes is hard work and commitment we have managed quite well and enjoy what othersa do to be competitive. keep up the good work

Yes mam!

I meant both actually. :) By moving this thread to gumshoe for the continuem, so you guys can create a clean new recruitment thread.

You guys should have a clean recruitment thread, no newbie wants to read this stuff and fancy joining.

But lets not make a big deal about it being posted here. The message is more important, not the location where it is posted. Thread hijacking happens ALL the time, also often by mojo people themselves, if not by them the by me. hahah. Lets not make that a bigger deal then it is, as a fresh recruitment thread can be recreated in 2 seconds by copy and pasting the original one. And and additional 2 seconds to move this to sleuthtalk.

I don't think that people's MAIN concerns are the advantage in hunts.
Here's what I've been trying to say and what others seems to be saying:
*I think this actually potential to destroy the community spirit.
*I think that there are plenty of games on the internet with alliances act. I recommend you try Utopia. Which I left because it was a horrible community to be part of.
*[people not] feeling part of a community unless they are in an alliance. Which judging from the above is also exclusive.
*I have played online games where the sense of community and spirit was ruined by "alliances" and the like.
*And you also stated: "We do want other agencies to work together with us. "
and: "We did not create this group of agencies to exclude anyone."
You have already turned down one agency who asked to be part of this.
*Creating communities within communities can, and likely will, hurt the game, and it seems to me that is what is happening.
*I am concerned that in order to remain competitive and attract quality people, we'll have to either be assimilated by Mojo or make/join some other alliance--which is not what I signed up for.
*I do not think it is in good spirit of the game to have giant agencies.
*I do not think any agency should have more than the 12 members it is allowed. If you are having problems with people staying active, then replace them. Not move them to a side agency to be used later.
*[I] do not see that as being anything but an ‘us verses them’ situation. I believe that agencies should stay separate.
*[Person has] has stated exactly why it is not fair or in good spirit of the community to have mega agencies. You will end up pushing out the smaller agencies and turning people away from the game as a whole.

*Mojo has now 4 or more agencies…..for a small community they would suck up a lot of agents, who ordinarily would have started their own place. Which they won’t as there is no shot at competing. So it is going to be a few alliances competing, instead of 30+ agencies
*Alliances will kill a community. Not when some people hang out more with others necessarily. But it is part of being an official member of a club or not, where
others can’t join, unless they work with the alliance.
*I think the anti side of alliances is that you create more divisions and there is more chance for people to feel left out or excluded.
* [I]have played games where more and more people stopped playing because it was a horrible atmosphere due to alliances and the like.
*I think of people see this as blowing up and destroying a community they love.
* I want to be a part of the Sleuthing community. And I am worried that the community I have grown to respect and enjoy will disintegrate before my eyes. It'll be like Survivor: Sleuth Island--join an alliance, or be voted off to the sidelines.
*I agree I would hate to see sleuth become nothing more than a bunch of agency alliance

As a moderator has already said everything except joining Mojo Enterprises is off topic on this thread now.
