I would like that idea, to get to know everybody better, but on the other hand I am not forgetting why I picked a male the detective in the first place.
I started out with a very charming female detective, with one of the rather good looking pictures. The private messages I got, annoyed me.
Hence, a tough and smart angry looking male detective.
I like the idea, but should be optional.
