I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on. Please Answer by replying to this post.
1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?
2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?
3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?
Thanks

1 - the game is really fun
2- the total number of cases for those who can't subscribe should be bigger like 60 or 70% of the cases for those who are subscribed... u have to think that there are lots of foreing players that cannot pay with USDollar or don't have an international credit card to use the paypal system!
An other point is the agency... i think that u should have to be subscribed to CREATE an AGENCY, and not to JOIN one!
3 - the game is simply perfect, a lot of fun and a lot of thinking!
bye

1). very fun, i can see this game making alot of ground given time for constant improvements
2a). delete your detective? i think this will be quite popular and it would save you memory (e.g. i've got 2 accounts and would like to delete one)
b). ability to pick your own avatar? (e.g. link to an avatar on another website or upload ur own pic?)
c). more variety in cases, items, shops...etc but i'm sure this will come with time
d). more social interaction (e.g. perhaps an ability to pay another detective to solve a case for you? make this a real time payment to avoid ppl solving cases with more than one account?)
thanks

Justice,
Your situation where you wanted to delete a detective, to get his name completely out of the system was unusual. In most cases, people ask me to delete characters because they want to start over with the same name. I'm hesitant to do that, because I like the idea of retired characters sticking around in the high scores lists and message boards, for posterities sake. There is also the issue of, if a detective was the one who posted a message on the boards, and the user then deletes that detective, what would happen to that post, and all of it's replies? Sticky.

i couldn't agree more... i am a brazilian boy and cannot pay by sending a check or even with the paypal system... i would like the idea that a detective can Join an Agency without being subscribed, but cannot CREATE one...
i also agree that the nunber of cases for those who are not subscribed should be at least 50% of those who are subscribed...
thankz

1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?
Quite fun, and I even subscribed after a few days. Glad there is a limit on the games I can play still, as this is quite addictive!
2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?
After playing the game a few times, I came up with my very own SLEUTH text file template! Helps me keep track of all the nit-picking details so I'm not making too many false accusation. Nice to hear we can report those, as I believe I ran into one of those situations. I'll turn in a bug report if it happens again.
Also glad to hear the red-herrings & misdirection will increase as I progress. Focusing right now on maxing out my experience at the Easy level so I can earn a lot of skill points.
3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?
I haven't tried any of the Hard level ones, mysteries, or treasure hunts yet. Found some of the Intermediate level ones that I've tried as favors to be very challenging, which lead to my developing my own note taking system.
Getting things down to just 2 or 3 suspects is pretty easy for me, and I think I've worked out a strategy that keeps people talking for a decent interval. (Hardest thing to work out!) Do wish I could somehow say to someone, "Why is your bloody footprint at the crime scene." Especially when they've clammed up, and I know they have an alibi! Gets back to my need to improve my interrogation skills I guess...

Clair Williams, It might help to think of those bloody footprints as "circumstantial evidence" left at the crime scene. Interesting strategy, how long to you figure, it'll take to max-out at the easy level?

1) Is the game fun?
Loads! I play my 8 daily cases, I do my daily "little job" and I do all my favours. Sure it eats up 2 hours a day, but hey, it's worth it!
2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?
It'd be nice if the equipment in the equipment locker at the agency would be sorted by type. Headgear, coats and accessories.
I'd like it if the political standing didn't go down so fast. With 1 "little job" you get 4 points but then the standing drops by 3 points every day. So without a lot of luck, getting your standing up fast isn't really possible. Also, I'd like it if less than 25% of my cases would make my standing withthe Brotherhood go down. I know it's just bad luck, but it's annoying nonetheless. :-)
Will the top person in an Organisation get any bonuses or anything?
It'd be nice to have an inbox for messages so you can review them later on in case you forget what was sent. It can have a timeout to things don't get cluttered.
3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?
Well, when I play Really Hard cases, I always solve them. But Really Really Hard cases can get tough sometimes. I've only touched upon the harder ones once or twice and failed miserably. So I'm sure the game will stay challenging for a long time to come.
Question: How many skill points are required to get /all/ the skills? Is there a list of all skills available?
Great game, very much fun. Keep up the good work, Sleuth Admin. :-)

jenifer if u go to ur detective screen and click buy skills then click in skill screen on help u'll c how many skills r there and the price.
if u have a certain quality u can take 2 points from the basic price. example reserch costs 13 points but if u r smart it'll cost u 13-2=11 points.

There's no skills listed when I click buy skills, cause I have almost no skill points. (6)
