Petition and condolences for Lady Jas

Lady Jas had a technical malfunction with her mouse that resulted in her getting three false accusations (one of the perils of using a laptop computer). A lot of good people have rallied around her, but she has just lost a detective with oversix million xp.
I realise that there are many who know Lady Jas better, but I would just like to lend my support to a request for having her detective re-instated. Please feel free to add your condolences and support below.
Thankyou.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of Jas.
If her detective was retired due to a technical malfunction, I agree that she should be reinstated. I support the petition to reinstate her.

The problem with reverting a retirement due to technical malfunction is we have no way of proving when the user is telling the truth. We already get people who say they were retired because their cat jumped on the keyboard, or their little brother was using their account, etc. While each of those situations may in fact be true, we can't tell when they are and when they're not.
So, unless we make a permanent change to how retirements are handled, I'm not sure how we can fairly reinstate jas.

Would a change in policy be considered? When someone retires their detective due to real technical issues, pets, pesky siblings, etc it is heartbreaking. What about a "one time chance" to have your agent re-instated. With 2 FAs . If it happens a second time.. then no petitions or reinstatments.

Maybe a way of being reintroduced "on probation" for detectives more than a certian number of days old with reliable excuses (honor system). For those detectives, shady will charge double normal, and take half of what they earn for the next year...

Erm, could I respectfully request that Sleuths of a certain level of experience get the chance of returning from the dead? This could be the same for everyone of over 2million experience. When Sherlock Holmes went over the Richenbach Falls the public outcry was such that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle had little choice but to bring him back.
I am very aware that the number of spurious claims must be a serious dampner on what is, frankly, just a game after all. However, this would be a way of fairly reinstating Jas and also adding a perk for all those Mycrofts out there who give so much time and effort to the game.

If we did have such a policy, there would be no point in adding the act of god contingency. We can't tell if somebody did in fact have a technical glitch or a spilled soda or a monkey in their computer room. All we know is that they clicked on "Accuse" and then "Yes" on the next page. Three times.
So, if people really want an unretirement policy that can be used for one free redo for any purpose, we can consider that. However, it would have to have official rules and limitations that are consistent and confirmable. Requiring people to come up with a story that is sufficiently sad is not a good idea, as it would essentially be a popularity contest.

True - but as a perk of reaching a certain level of experience?

If it had been me at my level of experience - I would have gone into that dark night and not raged against the dying of the light. But for someone with millions of experience points? They would not have made a mistake deliberately and they are all people who are adding to the overall Sleuth experience. The opportunity for improvement or the drawing of a line?
